A Four Tier Four Flavour Wedding Cake

A festive wedding at a lovely venue, I was asked to create and deliver the wedding cake to Hillbark Hotel. I worked closely with the bride to design the cake. She wanted a jewelled four tiered cake with each layer being a different flavour. I provided samples of various flavours to the bride and groom. They decided on fruit cake for the largest bottom tier, chocolate fudge on the next one up, carrot cake third and lemon on top.

The cake was one of the larger ones I have produced, it took some time to source the jewells to give the cake the look the bride wanted. Another issue was the weight, a cake of this size weights a lot, especially having fruitcake for the biggest tier, which gave us some transportation challenges to say the least.

We managed to transport the cake and delivered it in one piece. Hillbark was a lovely venue, very Christamassy set up took around an hour, and we left very pleased with the end result.

After the wedding the bride contacted me to say how much she loved the cake.
